SHORT DESCRIPTION

Embark on an exotic journey with the original Moroccan blend that combines numerous exquisite spices.

USE

This blend of the finest spices is a must-have for preparing couscous and oriental rice and vegetable dishes and casseroles. Those who prefer it with meat should opt for lamb, typical of North Africa.

Recipe suggestion: Potato and meat casserole

Ingredients: 850g well-hung beef sirloin, 2 onions, 5 cloves of fresh garlic, 300g tomatoes, 1 can of peeled tomatoes, 500g potatoes, 50g dried figs, 200g eggplant, 2 tbsp olive oil.

Peel the onion and potatoes and grease the baking dish with olive oil.
Cut meat into thin slices.
Sauté the onion with 1 teaspoon of oil, season the meat generously with Ras-el Hanout and sea salt, arrange the slices in a baking dish, add the onions and pureed peeled tomatoes to the meat and cook for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Cut the potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and figs into slices, season with Ras-el Hanout and 1 teaspoon of salt, add to the precooked meat and bake for another 30 minutes.
For the last 5 minutes, top with grated Parmesan cheese and serve hot.

Due to the spice blend's ingredients, the flavor is rather dominant and deep, with cinnamon, cloves, and star anise. The slight spiciness comes from ginger and pepper, creating a tangy sweetness.
