Fascination for spices that you can taste
Since its founding in 2005, SPICEWORLD GmbH has developed from a small spice manufacturer into an international brand that stands for the highest quality, passion, and innovation. Our journey
began in Willi Pichler's garage, with a clear vision for the finest spices and sustainable cultivation. Even back then, we knew: spices are more than just ingredients – they're an experience for all the senses.
After a brief stopover in the city center, we moved to our current headquarters on Hannakstraße in 2012. Just a few years later, in 2018, Helmut Gstöhl and Lukas M. Walchhofer took over the company as partners. Lukas, a trained chef and the company's first employee, has since then been the managing partner with heart and
Soul in it.
The big breakthrough came in 2019 with the founding of STAY SPICED! as a separate brand of SPICEWORLD GmbH. Since then, we have not only continuously expanded our product range, but also developed our own packaging, redefined our entire corporate identity, and further strengthened our brand through collaborations with testimonials such as Roland Trettl, Haya Molcho, Tom Heinzle, and Ben Perry.

Our spices aren't created in the shadows – we maintain direct relationships with our suppliers as much as possible, thus guaranteeing the highest quality. From harvest to the finished spice, everything is geared towards transparency and fairness.
In 2021, we launched our own project, "Maiergut," in the Innviertel region. On the 17-hectare site, we cultivate coriander and caraway, as well as oilseeds such as poppy and pumpkin seeds of the highest quality. With our own cultivation, we aim to raise awareness of regional spice cultivation of the highest quality and take sustainability a step further.

UNSER WEG ZUR PERFEKTION
Vom Anbau bis zur Lieferung
Unsere Gewürze entstehen nicht im Dunkeln und Verborgenen – wir pflegen direkte Beziehungen zu unseren Lieferanten und garantieren so höchste Qualität. Von der Ernte bis zum fertigen Gewürz baut alles auf Transparenz und Fairness auf; und uns sind die Herausforderungen des Anbaus absolut bewusst.
2021 haben wir mit dem „Maiergut“ im Innviertel (Oberösterreich) unser Projekt für den Eigenanbau ins Leben gerufen. Auf dem 17 Hektar großen Areal werden neben Koriander und Kümmel auch Ölsaaten wie Mohn und Kürbiskerne in bester Qualität angebaut. Mit dem Eigenanbau schaffen wir das Bewusstsein für regionalen Gewürzanbau in höchster Qualität und gehen noch einen Schritt weiter in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit.
Unsere CO2-neutrale Lieferung sorgt dafür, dass Deine Bestellung nicht nur mit Liebe und Sorgfalt verpackt, sondern auch umweltfreundlich zu Dir geliefert wird. Wir setzen auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern, die sich ebenfalls für den Umweltschutz engagieren. Damit haben wir alle ein gutes Gewissen.

The path to the future
Our work doesn't end with the perfect spice—we're always looking for new ways to further strengthen our brand and expand our product range. One of our biggest goals is to intensify the taste and enjoyment of our spices for more and more people.
In 2021, after a long period of planning and hard work, we opened our first concept store in Europark Salzburg. Here, we've created a place where you can experience the world of STAY SPICED! up close. And that's just the beginning—we have big plans, and more exciting locations are already in the pipeline.
Additionally, we work closely with our resellers and are always looking for partners who want to join us in the future. Together, we want to further raise awareness of the value of spices and sustainability.
