Sepp, how do you season?
"Only with the best. And my book, so nothing goes wrong."
About Sepp
Sepp Schellhorn is one of Austria's most renowned restaurateurs – a long-time host, creative culinary visionary, and entrepreneur. Many know him from establishments like the Seehof in Goldegg or the M32 in Salzburg. Sepp is also politically active and currently holds a public office as State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.
Josef "Sepp" Schellhorn, born on May 12, 1967, in Schwarzach im Pongau, is an Austrian entrepreneur, restaurateur, and politician. He grew up in Goldegg am See and initially pursued a career as a ski racer before discovering his passion for culinary arts. After stints in Austria, Pisa, Miami, and Paris, as well as working with renowned chefs such as Jörg Wörther and Eckart Witzigmann, he took over his parents' business, "Der Seehof," in Goldegg in 1996.
In recent years, Schellhorn gained additional popularity through humorous cooking videos on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. These videos led to the publication of his cookbook "Sepp, was machst du?" (Sepp, what are you doing?), in which he presents 90 of his most popular recipes.
He currently runs the "Gasthof zum Bierführer" in Goldegg, just a few meters from his former establishment.
Since Sepp works in a public capacity, he is currently not permitted to undertake any additional entrepreneurial tasks. Therefore, we cannot offer the jointly defined sets and favorite products at the moment, and they are not marked as such.
We have a very good partnership with Sepp, and he remains a big fan of STAY SPICED! – he has used and raved about many of our spices himself. So you can freely choose what you like.
