For optimal results, mix 50g of the spice mix with 1kg of ground meat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil, 1-2 egg yolks, and a small, diced onion. GOOD TO KNOW
Hackepeter is a traditional dish made from raw pork that has been finely minced or ground through a meat grinder. It is often eaten as a spread on bread and is particularly popular in Germany in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. In Austria, "Hackepeter" would be described as "minced meat" (or "ground meat"). There, it is usually made from beef, pork, or a mixture of both and is almost always boiled or fried, e.g., in the form of frikadellen, meatballs, or Bolognese sauce.
