Spaghetti with prawns and spinach are the perfect food when you need to go fast. They are simply made and ready in no time and taste fantastic! A real feel-good meal for the end of the day
After all, who wants to shop and cook elaborately after a hard day's work? I always have a few things in stock for these days, which you can prepare quickly and spontaneously. These include frozen prawns and frozen spinach. Both result in a real soul food dinner with pasta or a curry with rice and Asian spices If you are looking for some really fast dishes for the evening, I can recommend the pizza dillas, lasagna soup, carrot gnocchi or the potato corn soup. Everything goes super fast – with my favorite kitchen helper, the Airfryer*, it's even much faster!
Heat salted water in a large saucepan and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Defrost the shrimp if necessary.
Peel the onion and chop finely. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté the onion cubes until translucent. Add the cream and spinach and simmer for about 7 minutes. Season with grated nutmeg, salt and pepper.
In a small pan, heat the remaining olive oil to a high temperature and fry the shrimp in it sharply. Peel the garlic and chop finely and fry with the prawns. When the garlic is fried light brown, turn down the temperature and season the prawns vigorously with thyme, rosemary and oregano. Finally, sprinkle the chilli flakes over it.
Add the spinach sauce to the spaghetti and stir. Then arrange on the plates and spread the prawns over them.
Ready is a quick after-work meal!
