preparation

Cheese sauce – Melt butter in the pot and sauté the flour while stirring with a whisk – add milk – stir in grated cheese and spices – bring to the boil briefly, and on a low flame the sauce is simmered until the cheese has melted and the sauce has become thick. Ready!

Potato Rösti – For the potato rösti, peel the potatoes and rub them coarsely. The grated potatoes are simply salted, peppered and seasoned with a pinch of nutmeg. Form 8 röstis from the potato mass and fry in a pan with clarified butter and keep warm.

Burgers – Mix the faschiertes well with the spice and form into 4 patties of the same size – off on the grill and fry sharply on both sides.
Cut open the brioche buns, sprinkle with the cheese and bacon cubes on top and put briefly in the grill until the cheese has melted. Fry the bacon strips crispy.

Serving – When all the ingredients are ready comes the assembly of the burger: On the lower half of the buns you put some of the cheese sauce, then comes the first potato rösti, next comes the patty on it. In turn, you put the second potato rösti up and put the bacon strips on it. Over the bacon strips comes the delicious cheese sauce and on top of it the bun lid, which is fixed with a burger skewer or knife.
