Recipe: Oat Porridge

If you are looking for a healthy soul food breakfast, you have to try this oat porridge recipe. Christiane from the Genussmacherei and nutritionist according to TCM refines it with fine S! Tahiti vanilla, cardamom, bourbon vanilla sugar and nuts – that's how you start the day full and in a good mood!

preparation

In the melted butter, lightly roast the oatmeal. Add most of the milk and simmer over medium heat until the mixture is a little thickened. 

Attention: This is very fast!

Add a little milk again and again, so that it remains a loosely stirred mass. Then the dash of lemon (preferably freshly squeezed), the pinch of salt, 1 MSP cardamom and S! Stir in Tahiti vanilla and the bourbon vanilla sugar (amount as desired).

Before serving, spread the chopped nuts over the finished porridge. 

If you feel like it, you can also sprinkle coconut chips over it.

The following are suitable for this:

– a fruit mirror with raspberries, strawberries, blackberries (depending on the season – it is also okay to take frozen berries)

– classic apple compote or apple slices

– Bananas cut into slices

Hint:

With the oatmeal you should not use a large leaf, these need more time in cooking and are harder to digest. Rice or millet flakes are also suitable as an alternative.

If you like, you can also use animal milk. In case of mucus, however, vegetable milk is more suitable.
