Recipe: Cheese Snail Rolls

Steffi von Steffi's family kitchen is one of the absolute baking pros among the SPICEvips. She regularly makes our mouths watery with her rolls and desserts – and this time she has given us one of her recipes for the S! Blog reveal: You must have tried these spicy snail rolls with cheese!

preparation

Heat the milk, stir in corn semolina and simmer for 2 minutes. Allow the finished mixture to cool in a bowl for 3 hours.

Then knead the ingredients for the main dough (except the cheese) and the semolina for about 7 minutes. Then let the dough rise covered for at least 12 hours (overnight).

Divide the dough into 12 pieces, grind round and let it rest briefly. Then form long strands and roll them up like a snail. Place on a tray with baking paper, spray with water and sprinkle with cheese. If you want, you can add some poppy seeds.

Let the snails rise for another 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the oven to 240 rpm. Put the screws in the oven and spray again with water, turn the oven back to 230 and bake for 20 minutes.
