Mix all ingredients and knead quickly to a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in transparent foil and let it rest for at least two hours. Best chilled overnight.
Preheat the oven to 170 °C (hot air).
Remove the dough from the refrigerator 20-30 minutes before processing. Separate into several equal parts with a dough card and form long rolls with a diameter of approx. 1 1/2 cm.
Divide the long dough rolls into smaller pieces and form the vanilla kipferl from them.
Place the rolled vanilla kipferl on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 12-15 minutes, depending on the oven.
After baking some STAY SPICED ! Mix TNT sugar with icing sugar and sprinkle on the still hot vanilla kipferln.
S! Tip: Instead of the grated almonds, grated hazelnuts or walnuts can also be used for the dough – according to your own taste preference.
