Cinnamon blossom ground

The cinnamon flowers of the Cassia cinnamon tree from China (also called Cassia flowers and Cassia flowers) have always been used in Chinese cuisine. In our latitudes, they have only been cooked with them since the Middle Ages. The Cassia cinnamon flowers are the buds or the young fruits of the Chinese cinnamon tree. Visually, the cinnamon flowers, which are still harvested unripe and then dried in the sun, resemble small cloves. The Cassia cinnamon blossom is then ground and can thus be used directly to season food.

The ground Cassia cinnamon blossom can be used both at the beginning and at the end of the preparation of food. Before it is used, it should be tasted pure – so you can better assess its intensity.
