The extraordinary pepper specialty is located on the Malabar coast in southwestern India, which therefore also bears the nickname Pepper Coast. The exquisite pepper is picked by hand in the tiger reserve of the Periyar Nature Reserve shortly before maturity and carefully selected, which is why Tellicherry is also nicknamed "late harvest pepper".
