The Bengali pepper harmonises wonderfully with meat and fish dishes as well as spicy cheese and wine sauces. Its mild chili heat also goes perfectly with spicy-sweet compositions, which is why it does well in Asian and Indian dishes. It gives self-prepared spice mixtures a pleasant invigorating heat. And even with fruits such as pineapple or strawberries Bengal pepper goes excellently! However, the Bengali pepper should only be crushed and ground shortly before its use, so that its extraordinary taste is maintained for as long as possible and it can optimally unfold its fine notes in food.
